The Běliště is the largest and the most beautiful example of traditional folk architecture in Železný Brod.

It dates from 1807. There is a group of sculptures in the garden. It used to be a tannery and now the premises are used for ethnographic collections of the city museum. There is an old school classroom and its equipment, a cobbler's corner, guilds equipment, bakery and gingerbread factory, tools and equipment used for flax processing, a weaver's room, clothes originating from previous centuries, and folk wooden nativity scenes and unique models of townsmen's houses.
