Teplice Spring

Spring.
Malá Skála.

A joint-controlled spring feeding a modest stream lies in the Lusatian Fault Zone, where groundwater penetrates to greater depths than in other geological settings. As a result, the temperature of issued water is up to 14.5 °C, which exceeds the usual temperature of groundwater by about 6 °C. The shelter above the spring and the stone bath were used for washing and rinsing linen in the past.
